Founder and Principal Lawyer
Kerem is a Canadian Turkish lawyer and the founder of the ersoy law. He has started his career in 2009 at a law firm based in Turkey and was admitted to the Turkish Bar in 2010. He has later joined the London office of a UK based multinational law firm. He then completed the LL.M. program at the University of California, Berkeley.
Upon completion of the program, Kerem took the New York Bar exam and thereafter returned to the same law firm. He was later admitted to the New York Bar in 2014. Kerem moved to Canada in 2016 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2018.
In Canada, before founding ersoy law, he worked as the legal counsel for a Toronto based international real estate franchisor, legal counsel contractor for a Vancouver based financial services company and a lawyer for a reputable law firm.
Kerem is fluent in Turkish and German. He also has basic proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese.
Kerem focuses on business law and real estate law, putting his years of hands-on multijurisdictional experience for a variety of clients. He is also responsible for the management of the firm.

Kerem is an avid reader of fiction, history and philosophy. He loves snowboarding and watching horror movies. He serves on the board of Berkeley Club of Canada and volunteers at Roseland Park Country Club.
Lawyer
Michelle Iezzi is a dedicated lawyer who has been serving clients across Ontario since being called to the Bar in 2015. After earning her Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University in 2009, she completed her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2013. Michelle is a proud member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association, and is committed to providing knowledgeable, attentive, and practical legal guidance to every client she represents.
As a senior lawyer at ersoy law, Michelle leads the wills and estates practice and brings extensive experience in real estate law, ensuring clients receive practical and reliable advice.

When she’s not practicing law, Michelle enjoys staying active at the gym, hiking and long walks with her dog, and travelling to new destinations. She’s an avid reader of psychological thrillers and loves spending time with her family.
Selin is a legal assistant at ersoy law, responsible for on-boarding clients, creating retainers and account statements, responding to client questions and writing blog posts.
Currently working towards her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at Wilfrid Laurier University as a Laurier Scholars Award recipient.
Selin was a national level figure skater for many years and now coaches young skaters. She loves staying active by running and weightlifting. In her free time she enjoys reading. Selin is currently learning her 4th language, Spanish.
Legal Assistant
Melis is a third-year law student working towards her Juris Doctor, and plans to continue her career in business, contracts, and real estate law. Her experience at ersoy law has strengthened her passion for these areas and provided her with valuable insight into serving clients with professionalism and care.
Melis is a legal assistant at ersoy law and assists clients with on-boarding, creates retainers and account statements, responds to client inquiries and other administrative tasks.
Melis enjoys reading across a variety of genres, with a particular love for horror and thrillers. She is passionate about animal welfare and currently serves as President of the Animal Justice Association at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law. In her free time, she also volunteers at animal shelters.
